A delightful little coffee shop and restaurant connected to the central library. Although they share a door, their hours aren’t tied together so the coffee shop is open even when the library isn’t. The crepes are delicious and a must. I enjoy their cortado. The staff is friendly here too!

We had such a refreshing experience at Café Crème! The drinks were spot on—the Matcha Green Tea Latte was smooth and earthy, and the kids loved the taro boba tea—creamy with just the right touch of sweetness. We enjoyed the breakfast tacos and the Tuscany crepe was a standout—crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful inside, paired perfectly with a fresh side salad. The atmosphere felt cozy and bright, making it the perfect spot to slow down and savor a meal. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I stopped by here to coworker with my friend a second time and both experiences were amazing. It's very bright and spacious and comfortably decorated, with great drink options. The thing I appreciated the most were just how accommodating the staff were with my dietary requests. Both Sophia and Madison were proactive, creative, and friendly. They ended up making me an amazing drink and meal. They made it really special. This can be my new place :)

Stopped by one evening since many of the other coffee spots were already closed by then. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for both work and casual chatting. The drinks were on the smaller side but good and they have a large breakfast and brunch menu which I’d love to come back and try. Would definitely come back!

This is a place that makes me feel at home. My second home. It is a perfect location with a great view and a library next to it so if you’d love to read, this is a great place. I can say for certain this is one of the best places that I’ve had coffee in all of downtown

We stopped by Cafe Crème’s new location attached to the Downtown Main Public Library after a walk around Town Lake on a cool Sunday morning. It was the perfect follow-up. We ordered a cappuccino, a matcha tea, a Nutella strawberry crepe, and a crepe madame. Everything tasted great and was just as good as their Oltorf location. The crepes were fresh and satisfying, and both drinks were really well made. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the location makes it such an easy, relaxing stop downtown. It’s a great place to refuel after a walk or to settle in for a bit. Really happy to have Cafe Crème in this spot when working from the library or simply chilling out on a weekend morning.

What a beautiful cafe! Thank you to all the lovely reviews that helped us decide to visit this cafe. This cafe is right next to the library and there is parking available with an hour free and later charged. We ordered drip coffee, espresso, everything seed bagel with light cream cheese and egg bacon cheddar sandwich. We also tried the short bread cookies and they were delicious! Everything was made to perfection. The ambience was amazing! Well lit, airy, the staff is very friendly. A must visit if you're a local or visiting Austin.

Excellent vibes. Came here and had the Vietnamese Coffee, and was not disappointed. I love all the greenery and colors inside the shop, and how great the view outside the window is. In a nutshell, excellent vibes, and good service. 100% will be back next time I’m in DT Austin.

Such an amazing find in Austin! 🐕 The patio is perfect for hanging out with your dog, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Service was super fast even with a line. 🍵 We loved the spring specials: the pickle lemonade and iced matcha with lavender foam; and "Tokyo" crepe were all delicious. 🌸 The interior is so cozy, and the pins and stickers are total cuteness overload. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!

Brought my 95 year old mother to brunch while waiting for a doctor visit. We both loved crepes and we're not disappointed! I had the crepe madame, while mom had the crepe varsailles. You order at the counter and food is delivered to the table. There's a decent sized room with 10 our so tables, a couple of hallways with a few tables, and a reservable room for parties. Atmosphere was fantastic and charming, food was incredible and prices on par with eating out in Austin. Service was fast. Only down side was a bit of difficulty with wheel chair. Not really set up for accessibility.
